September 2023 - Hansel & Gretel
The 2023 major production saw Bluebird Dance Theatre rework a ballet favourite, 'Hansel and Gretel'.
Through the year our students worked hard not only on there dances but on character development. On stage we had witches, cats, chefs, spooky animals, fairies and of Hansel and Gretel themselves. Each and every student worked extremely work to make this shimmery under the sea production a beautiful success.

Bollywood Summer School
In January 2021 we were incredibly lucky to have Hith from
Bindaas Bollywood Dance Company come and do a 2 day workshop with us.
We all had a wonderful time learning some moves from this culturally rich dance style. Thank you Hith!
2020 Photo Day
Thank you to everyone that made it to our first photo day, it was a lovely way
to end and commemorate a challenging year. A big thank you and congratulations to our production students who took part in our first ever school video filmed at the hall. These student learnt their 'Christmas Sweets' dance while still taking classes remotely on zoom, they all should feel extremely proud of their hard work and what they were able to achieve.

2020 Flamenco Summer School
We were incredibly lucky to have the wonderful Flamenco Dancer and teacher
Laura Uhe join us to at our Summer School.
Laura spent 3 days teaching us many aspects of the art form.
On our third day we were blessed with Angel Mellado coming along and musically accompanying the class. Angel is credited with bringing Flamenco music and dance to Australia from Spain.
It was an extremely special experience for both our students and teachers.
We look forward to having Laura back in the future to do more workshops with us.
2019 Summer Showcase
Our annual Summer Showcase was once again a great success.

2019 Christmas Carols
Well done to our Junior and Senior Production classes that performed at the Romsey Christmas Carols. It was a beautiful display of all the hard work they have put in this year.
The night was topped off by Bluebird winning the
'Peoples Choice Award'
for our Christmas tree on display on Main St Romsey.

Our Irish Dancers had a busy end to 2019 with performances at the Bolinda Spring Fair and the Romsey Christmas launch in November.
